Power Brows and How To Master Them

Brow Blog Image

A great brow product is worth its weight in gold. From Audrey’s squared edges to Brooke’s brushed out beauties and Kim’s perfectly polished pair, eyebrow trends may waver but a product that can do it all is a beauty bag staple. Having your eyebrows shaped professionally to suit your features is essential, but once you’ve left the salon, the pencil (or gel, or palette) is in your hands.

Brow Blog Image3If you’ve been naturally blessed with full brows, then a brow gel is a must. jane iredale PureBrow Brow Gel can be combed through the brows to set unruly hairs in place, and the tinted formulas (blonde, brunette & auburn) can be used to match your hair colour between tints or simply to give the illusion of thicker, fuller brows. Brow gels have been known to set quickly and give the hair an almost “crunchy” texture, but our mineral formulas have a conditioning effect on the hair, moving with your brow hair for a truly natural look. PureBrow Brow Gel also comes in a clear formula, perfect for “no makeup” days or for setting your look after using a pencil. Our tip? Brush up the hairs at the inner edges of your eyebrows for a fresh, youthful look.

If your brows are sparse or simply need a bit of filling in, then a pencil is your ideal brow tool. A fine pencil will allow you to physically draw on hairs where you feel you may need them, allowing you to be as precise as you need. The jane iredale Retractable Brow Pencil has a very fine tip so you can really create thin, hair like strokes. The pencil also has a spoolie on one end, meaning you can use it to groom your brows prior to using the pencil, and brush the colour through the brows for a blended, feathered finish. This waterproof brow pencil comes in three natural shades, blonde (warm golden brown), Brunette (reddish brown) and Dark Brunette (Rich chocolate brown).

If versatility is important to you, be it for the hip pocket or for a lack of beauty bag space, then a regular eye pencil can double up as a great brow tool. jane iredale’s Eye Pencil in Taupe is perfect for filling in the brows on the go, and also doubles as an eyeliner to add subtle, natural looking definition to the lash line.

The GreatShape Eyebrow Kit is a favourite among our jane iredale fans, because its great for those who want to create both shape, depth and texture. First, use the spoolie to brush the brow hairs upward and out to make it easier to work with their natural shape. Use the fine brush to apply the clear wax where you need more depth of colour/fill, then use the same brush to apply the tinted brow powder where you’ve just applied the wax – the powder will adhere to the wax to create a texture that almost mimics that of natural hairs. Finish by combing the hairs to blend the product.

Brows can do wonders for your overall look, and we can’t stress enough how critical brow maintenance is for preserving your natural brow shape. Our tip, put the tweezers down, book an appointment with a brow specialist and embrace your perfect brow shape, that suits your face, your eyes and your hair colour.

Which Foundation is Right for You?

Foundations Blog ImageLet’s talk about foundation. As the name implies, it is the canvas for your makeup. Aside from your moisturiser and/or serum, it is the closest product to your skin. That’s why we have worked diligently to bring you the healthiest mineral formulations we can possibly create to make sure your base is contributing to your skin health, day in and day out.

We always use the purest minerals to ensure they give you a flawless finish when applied. But, we aren’t called “The Skin Care Makeup” for nothing! Our foundations (and all of our products) also include ingredients that work “behind the scenes” to improve the health of your skin. One of our favourite things to hear is, after using our products regularly, our fans have a more radiant skin naturally.

Choosing the Right Mineral Foundation

Out of our five different mineral foundations and over 60 shades, which one is right for you? The short answer is all of them could work for you depending on your look. If you have to choose only one, here are some tips to help you narrow it down.

AMAZING BASE LOOSE MINERAL POWDER SPF 20

AmazingBase - Golden Glow - 72dpi

Finish: Dewy
Coverage: Sheer to full
Use it if… You have normal to dry skin and are looking for a loose mineral foundation that gives a sheer to medium coverage. Amazing Base can be applied using a Chisel Powder Brush for sheer to medium coverage or a Flocked Sponge for full coverage.
Pro Tip: Bring this foundation with you when you travel by putting it in the Refill-Me Refillable Loose Powder Brush, a mess-free way to apply loose powder on-the-go.

PUREPRESSED BASE MINERAL FOUNDATION REFILL SPF 15-20Rose Gold Refillable Compact with Refill - 72dpi

Finish: Semi-matte
Coverage: Sheer to full
Use it if… You have normal to oily skin and are looking for a simple, everyday foundation. Our PurePressed Base comes in 24 shades for women of all skin tones, is made from micronised minerals and is free of synthetic chemicals. Need more of a reason to love this powder? It is oil free, weightless and can be used as a foundation, finishing powder and concealer. Apply it with the Handi Brush for sheer to medium coverage or the Flocked Sponge for full coverage.
Pro Tip: PurePressed Base can also be used for highlighting and contouring. Choose colours that are a shade or two darker than your skin tone as a contour powder and a shade or two lighter as a highlighter.

GLOW TIME FULL COVERAGE MINERAL BB CREAM SPF 17-25GlowTime BB Cream - SPF25 - 72dpi

Finish: Velvety
Coverage: Full
Use it if… You have normal to dry skin and are looking for a full coverage foundation to disguise blemishes or dark spots. With Glow Time BB Cream, a little goes a long way. Four small dots of this product will easily cover the entire face and brighten your skin. This nourishing full coverage formula packed with pigment will give your skin a flawless, even finish. Glow Time BB1, BB3, BB5, BB6, BB7 & BB8 offer an SPF 25 while Glow Time BB9, BB11 & BB12 have an SPF rating of 17. The lower rating ensures no ashy finish, which is a common issue when applying SPF on darker skin tones.
Pro Tip: Mix Glow Time BB Cream with a little bit of Smooth Affair Facial Primer & Brightener to help it glide on your skin without diluting the foundation colour.

LIQUID MINERALSLiquid Mineral Foundation - Natural - 72dpi

Finish: Dewy
Coverage: Sheer to medium
Use it if… You want an anti-ageing foundation that doubles as a powerful skin treatment. Ideally suited to mature skins, but anyone with a normal to dry skin searching for a dewy finish should try this formula, it’s like none other. Liquid Minerals is a hydrating treatment serum with pigment that helps to soothe the skin, reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores and evens out skin tone. State-of-the-art technology prevents active ingredients Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C and Coenzyme Q10 from degrading, allowing them to time release into the skin. Not only does this foundation look attractive, it does wonders for the health of the skin.
Pro Tip: If you have extra dry skin during winter, add Liquid Minerals to your makeup routine because it contains Hyaluronic Acid, which attracts moisture and holds up 1,000 times its weight in water. This is our only foundation that doesn’t contain a broad spectrum SPF so be sure to dust a little Amazing Base or PurePressed Base on top for SPF protection.

DREAM TINT TINTED MOISTURISER SPF 15Dream Tint - 72dpi

Finish: Light
Coverage: Sheer to medium
Use it if… You want the no-makeup- makeup look that offers lightweight coverage and a smooth finish to the skin. Dream Tint can be applied with your fingers, just like any other moisturiser. While the coverage is sheer, the results are impactful. Dream Tint gives a soft-focus effect that helps minimise the appearance of fine lines and enlarged pores while protecting the skin with SPF 15. Great for teenagers and men that react to normal sunscreen and women searching for an effective, good-for-you tinted moisturiser.
Pro Tip: Dream Tint is oil free, so it is a great base for oily skin. It can be used to extend the wear of our mineral powders when used as a primer.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT FOUNDATION SHADE

We’ve all heard that most women are wearing the wrong foundation shade, but that doesn’t have to be true for you. When testing foundation shades on yourself, follow these three steps:

  1. Apply a stripe of foundation on your jawline (we usually do this with two or three shades for comparison).
  2. Spray it with one of our Hydration Sprays to set the minerals.
  3. If it looks like it’s disappeared on your skin, that’s your shade.

If you want a personalised foundation prescription now, take our Shade Finder Quiz to see which of our mineral foundations is right for you and which shades best match your skin tone.

How to Choose the Right Eyeliner

EyelinersEyeliner is one of those basic beauty products that can be polarising. Women either “never leave the house without it,” or they rarely, if ever, wear it. There really isn’t an in between, and that’s because eyeliner is transformative. Similar to wearing lipstick, lining your eye can change your entire look. With the distinct ability to change your look with a flick of your wrist, eyeliners are both simple to use and complex to master. Furthermore, there are a lot of different kinds of eyeliners – pencil, liquid, gel, etc. If you’re like us, then sometimes, options can be confusing. So, here is a simple guide to help you choose the best eyeliner for any occasion.

The Best Casual Eyeliner

If you want to get a simple, natural look, stick with an Eye Pencil. They are by far the easiest type of eyeliner to use because we’ve been using pencils our entire lives. Pencil eyeliner is also very versatile. You can achieve different levels of line definition, depending on the sharpness of the tip. A great trick to remember when applying any eyeliner is to start from the outer corner of your eye, and work your way in. This may feel awkward at first, but it helps you control how much of your eye you want to line. It also ensures your line ends exactly where you want it to end. Pro Tip: If you have downturned eyes, you can rock a cat eye, but in the reverse. Use an eyeliner pencil to create the cat eye from the bottom lash line instead of the top.

The Best Day to Night Eyeliner

Our Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner is the perfect all-in-one liner! It resembles a kohl liner formula, so it starts as a cream but stays put like a mineral powder once dry. The great thing is, you can layer it, so when you want to take your simple daytime look to the next level, all you have to do is add a little more liner with the thin side of the built-in brush and smudge it out into a smoky eye look using the flat side.

The Best Sexy Eyeliner

Winged liner is arguably the sexiest eyeliner look, and for many it is the most difficult to achieve. We’ve all experienced uneven wings from time to time, but there are a few pro tricks that you can incorporate to make sure they are both winging in the same angle and at the same height. Simply use a folded tissue or something similar as your guide, and angle your wing in line with the natural curve direction of your lower lash line. Whether you want a subtle cat eye or a full-on wing, Liquid Eyeliner is the best product for this look. The fine brush and easy to apply formula goes on smooth and is long-lasting. Pro Tip: If you have a monolid a cat eye is a great look for you, and our Liquid Liner makes it so easy to achieve!

The Best Eyeliner for Work

For a simple tight-line that is perfect to sport at work, the Jelly Jar Gel Eyeliner is key. Apply it using the Bent Liner Brush to get really close to your lash line. You can diffuse the line slightly using a Smudge Brush for a casual smoky eye that’s perfect for happy hour with your co-workers.

How-to create a classic winged eye liner using the Jelly Jar gel eyeliner

Prepare // Start by creating a marking point of where the highest point of the tail will end, this point will be on the outer corner of the eye and should be in line with a continuation of the lower lash line. Step 1 // Take Jelly Jar Gel Liner in Black and use the Bent Liner Brush to mark a tiny dot to use as your guideline, then line from the tip of that dot back to the centre of the top lash line, if there is a gap between the line and the lash line in the outer corner, fill it in with the gel liner. Step 2 // Next starting from the inner corner of the eye; apply the gel liner from the inner corner along the top lash line to join the liner in the centre of the lid. Be sure to keep the inner corner liner very thin by staying as close to the lash line as possible, that will also prevent there being any gaps in between the liner and your lashes. Correct // If you find that parts of the liner are a little uneven or jagged, use the same brush and wet it with your eye makeup remover, then use it to smooth over and clean up any areas so that your line is nice and smooth. TIP 1: Make sure your brush is in excellent condition, if your brush is splayed you will not achieve a clean and precise line. TIP 2: When lining the inner corner, always use the pointy tapered end of the brush to start on the inner corner and line outwards, when lining the outer corner use the pointy end and guide your brush along the lash line and line inwards. Positioning your brush on an angle so it hugs the curve of your eye lid, this will ensure a smooth effortless looking line.

NEW Pure and Simple Makeup Kit

Photo 20-2-17-4

Our philosophy on makeup is that it should be used to enhance your natural beauty, rather than as a mask to hide behind. Makeup should be fun, something to lift your confidence, never something to agonise over. An everyday makeup routine should be easy – pure and simple.

Enter our Pure & Simple Makeup Kit. Each kit covers all bases (pardon the pun) and is ideal for everyone – from the woman who has only recently acquainted herself with makeup and wants to build up her kit with the essentials, to the beauty lover who needs products that do their job (and do it well) to streamline her everyday makeup routine.

Photo 20-2-17-2

Each kit includes two shades of PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation, a PurePressed Blush, two PurePressed Eye Shadows and a Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain, meaning you can quite literally apply a complete face of makeup using just the one beauty-bag sized kit.

Photo 20-2-17-3

You’d be forgiven for assuming a kit so simple could only create one look, but these carefully curated collections have been designed with versatility at the forefront of the mind. For a truly effortless, natural look, apply the mineral foundation that best matches your skin tone; dust the blush over the apples of your cheeks (can’t find them? Grin at yourself in the mirror – the apples are the fleshiest parts of your cheeks), add a wash of the lighter eyeshadow from your duo over your lids, and then apply the lip stain using your finger to add a muted flush to your pout. To dial it up for the evening, use the slightly darker foundation in your kit to add definition to the hollows of your cheeks, work the darker eyeshadow through the crease of your eyelid for a simple smoky eye, use your finger to apply the lip and cheek stain over your powder blush to add more warmth to your complexion, then finish by applying the stain directly to your lips from the bullet for a more concentrated lip colour.

Photo 20-2-17

Each kit also contains a powder brush and dual-ended eye shadow applicator, meaning you don’t have to haul around a brush roll with your new streamlined beauty routine. Unfold the powder brush to create a fan shape for easy foundation application, then fold it back up and create a denser brush to apply your blush with more precision.

Being able to create a complete look using one kit is ideal for travel, but we get even more use out of it for touch-ups during the day. Our tip? Keep our PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation on hand to top up your SPF. Not only is it packed with active skin care benefits, it’s been recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation as an effective broad spectrum sunscreen which means you can dust it lightly over your makeup before heading out into the sun (we make sure we do this before we head out to lunch) for additional sun protection without having to wipe off the rest of our face!

Our Pure & Simple Makeup Kit is available in four universal shades to suit every complexion, featuring different foundation blush hues to suit fair to deep skin tones.

8 Makeup Brushes you actually need

Brushes

Do you know the difference between a primer and a concealer? If you said yes, then that was too easy! The real question is do you know the difference between a Dome Brush and a Crease Brush? Stumped you yet?

The world of makeup brushes can be slightly confusing not to mention expensive, that’s why we’ve put together our list of eight brushes that you actually need rather than all the ones you think you need.

We couldn’t think of anyone else more qualified to let us in on her brush secrets than our jane iredale National Educator, Martina Williams.

1. Foundation Brush

Have you ever applied foundation only to discover that it’s not blended properly around your nose, chin, pores and fine lines? There’s a simple fix for this and it requires nothing more than a Foundation Brush! You need the firmness of the Foundation Brush to press product into your skin.

This is also my favourite brush to apply any type of primer. Primers contain ingredients such as silica and add texture to the skin so it’s important to ensure makeup is blended correctly with a Foundation Brush rather than a stippling brush and blending brush.

Additionally, the Foundation Brush is perfect for applying cream blushes. First, use a patting motion to apply colour before turning over the brush to the clean side and continue to pat the product until all the colour is easily distributed.  I like to start my application of liquid or cream based foundation using a traditional synthetic Foundation Brush.

2. Blending Brush

This brush does exactly what the name implies – it blends and it blends well! With a blend of natural and optic fibres, this brush is great for cream/ wet or powder based products such as primer, foundations, or cream blushes.

If you have applied your powder foundation and it’s feeling somewhat heavy, you can spritz the Blending Brush with Hydration Spray and buff your foundation to sheer out the coverage and blend away any build-up of product.

3. Deluxe Shader Brush

Getting the eyes right is often the most difficult step as it requires more precision and care than foundation. This firm flat natural fibered brush is great for applying an eye shadow base colour, or a simple single colour wash, the firmness allows colour to be evenly deposited and distributed without leaving any fall out, using a pressing motion as opposed to a sweeping motion will also help avoid fallout.

4. Crease Brush

This is the absolute master of all brushes. I have a nice little collection of these and tend to use two to three of these during any one makeup application.

This brush is a soft tapered natural fibered brush that fits into the natural contour of the eye and is the ultimate blending brush – it takes all the hard work out of blending. The sponge tip applicator or firm brush is only going to deposit colour, so you need a soft tapered brush for blending.

Traditionally used for powder based products you can also try using it with wet or cream products such as concealer. This is the perfect brush to blend and feather the edges of concealer under the eyes or around hard to reach areas such as the nose or mouth.

You can also use it to pick up loose or pressed powder and set cream based products such as concealer. Using a sponge or a firm flat brush to set concealer can result in a build-up of product that can look heavy and can accentuate fine lines.

I also use the Crease Brush to contour parts of the face such as the sides of the nose, because the fibres are soft and tapered you can gradually build and blend colour so you’re left with a subtle natural look.

5. Mini-Dome Brush

It might be small, but the Mini-Dome’s soft fibres are great for depositing and blending products like eye liner and eye shadow for a diffused and smoky look.

This brush is also ideal to use when creating a cut crease because the Mini-Dome Brush will blend the socket line to look blended, but still precise and accurate.

6. Bent Liner Brush

This is ideal for gel or liquid liners as the fibres are firm and tapered and its tip is pointed so you can create the perfect eye liner. The brush is bent which makes application easy as the brush hugs the contour of the eye.

I also use this brush to blend lip liner when I need a precise and accurate lip line, especially when I’m doing a bold or bright lip.

7. Angle Liner/Brow Brush

Sometimes it can be a little tricky to accurately apply liquid liner to the lower lash line however by using the Angled Liner/Brow Brush you can simply press product into the roots of the lash rather than trying to apply a precise line along the lashes.

You can also use this brush and your complexion colour in powder, concealer or foundation to clean up any messy edges from around the mouth after applying lipstick.

8. Dome Brush

Last but not least, this medium sized ultra-soft dense powder brush is perfect for applying blush to the apples of your cheeks. You can also use it to highlight the high planes of the face with a highlighting powder such as Moonglow Bronzer – just swirl the brush around in little circular motions.

I also love to use this brush to complete my application of Glow Time BB Cream, traditionally a powder brush; I use it to blend away any streaks that can sometimes be left from synthetic fibres. You can also use it for contouring and for applying Bronzer powders; the soft fibres pick up just the right amount of product leaving a seamless finish on the skin.

How to select the perfect red lipstick for your complexion

Marilyn Monroe, the poster child for the classic red lip. It’s bold, glamorous and a little bit sexy. Just like her. Synonymous with femineity this iconic beauty staple is always in style and can transform any look – it just takes some confidence.
RedLipShadesOne way to garner up the courage to wear a red lip is knowledge. Knowledge is power and the more you understand about the shades you’re buying and how to apply the product the more comfortable you’ll be.

When faced with 20 different shades of red lipstick it can be really overwhelming, especially if you’re just getting started. A lot of people say “I can’t wear a red lipstick” however it’s not as intimidating as it may seem, it’s usually just because people haven’t found a colour or texture that’s right for them.

Let’s start with finding the right shade for your complexion. First, you need to understand the difference between your skins surface tone and undertone. Your skins surface tone is the colour you’d describe yourself as (light, medium, dark) and your skins undertone is the colour under the surface (cool or warm).

Cool Complexions

RedLipColours-Complexions3 For those with a cooler complexion (pink, red or bluish undertones) it’s best to look for classic blue based reds. Try jane iredale’s Hot PlayOn Lip Crayon or Passion Lip Fixation for a long lasting matte finish.

Warm Complexions

RedLipColours-Complexions2 For women with a warm complexion (olive, peachy and golden undertones) should try to source reds that are infused with orange hues, think deep oranges and bright corals. We love jane iredale’s Peach Lip Pencil applied all over the lips for a matte finish or Saucy PlayOn Lip Crayon for a vibrant orange red.

Porcelain Complexions

RedLipColours-Complexions A milky porcelain complexion and dark hair lends itself well to deeper shades of wine and berry reds. Try jane iredale’s PlayOn Lip Crayons in Naughty and Luscious, or Berry Lip Pencil with Annette PureMoist Lipstick.

Medium to Dark Complexions

RedLipColours-Complexions4 A medium to dark complexion looks stunning when combined with a deeper classic red such as Cindy PureMoist Lipstick and Crimson Lip Pencil, pair this with a black winged liner and you’ll have the ultimate red carpet look.

How to Create the Perfect Red Lip in 5 Simple Steps:

  1. First remove any surface dryness, try Sugar and Butter Lip Scrub for a smooth and polished finish.
  2. Ensure the skin tone around your mouth is even and free from any redness, use foundation or concealer and take right up to the lip line, dust a very light layer of translucent powder over the edges of the lip, this will create a matte barrier to help prevent your lip colour from bleeding.
  3. Once you have applied your lipstick, go back and clean up the edges of the mouth using your foundation, concealer or complexion powder, by using a brush such as the Angle Liner Brush to apply, this will help keep your outline precise. If you’re using a pencil to outline your lips, take a clean firm brush such as the Detail Brush to blend away any obvious hard edges, then follow with your lip colour. For the precise application of red lipstick without outlining your lips first, try applying your lipstick with the Bent Liner Brush, it’s pointed tip gives you the precision of a lip pencil so your outline will be spot on every time.
  4. If you’re concerned that your red shade will be too bold, why not try wearing the same shade as more of a stain? You can try dabbing a little on the lips so the coverage is more transparent. Try using jane iredale Forever Red Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain for a sheer and long lasting colour.
  5. Also to avoid getting red lipstick on your teeth, pop a tissue around your index finger and slip between your lips to remove any excess.

3 Easy Steps to Beautiful Brows

Full, perfectly arched eyebrows are always in style, but sometimes it may feel like they are impossible to achieve. That’s why we went straight to the pros – our Global Makeup Educators – to get tips on how to pull-off a smokin’ hot brow.

Shape & Define your eyebrows like a pro

Brow shape is unique to everyone’s face. Eyebrows are not a one size fits all situation; what looks stunning on your best friend or favourite celebrity, may not be the best shape for you. Here are three steps to help you find the most perfect brow shape for your face:

1. To find out where your brow should begin (point A), align the flat edge of a straight Brow shapingmakeup brush to the outside of your nose/inner corner of your eye.

2. Your true arch (point B) is found by taking your brush and laying it diagonally from your nostril to the outside edge of your iris.

3. Determine where your brow should end (point C) by using your brush to create a line from the outside corner of your nose diagonally to the outside corner of your eye.

The Perfect Brow for your Face Shape

  • For a Round Face: To minimise the curve of a round face, direct the outer third of your brow towards the top of the ear.
  • For a Square Face: If the face is square, direct the outer third of your brow toward the middle of the ear. This helps balance the face.
  • For a Long Face: If the face is long, keep the brow more straight across, directing the outer third above the ear.
  • For an Oval Face: An oval face already looks balanced, but to enhance this harmony, you can direct the outer third towards the ear lobe.

The Perfect Brow for your Eye Shape

  • For Wide Set Eyes: Make sure the inner corner of your brows are closer together. First, mark where your brow should begin by using the Eye Pencil in Taupe to make a small line towards the center of your nostril. Then, use all your other angles to determine where the brow should arch and end.
  • For Close Set Eyes: Try not to make the mistake of over tweezing the area between your eyes; this will throw off the symmetry of your face. All you need to do is extend the true arch point out further, to give the eyes more of a wide set appearance.
  • For Hooded Eye Lids: Your ideal brow is thinner. This will open up the eye area and make it appear larger and wider. Try to avoid a large, heavy brow because it will create the illusion that the eye is being pulled down further.
  • For Deep Set Eyes: Your goal is to offset any of the shadows seen around the whole eye area. Too dark eyebrows will make your eyes appear deeper set than they really are. So, try working with a lighter brow shade, and keep your brow shape more angular. If the brows are too round in shape, they can actually accentuate dark circles.
  • For More Mature Eyes: The trick is to not drag the end tail of your eyebrow down; no need to assist gravity. First, find your true arch. Then, slightly lift the tail of the eyebrow as you create the end point. This will create an illusion of a more youthful eye.

How to Fill in Your Eyebrows

  1. Line. Using an eyebrow pencil with a fine tip (try our Retractable Brow Pencil) to line the top of your eyebrow. First, locate the starting point of your eyebrow. To do so hold the pencil vertical to the bridge of your nose, right next to your nostril; mark that spot with the pencil. Then, mark the ending point by pivoting the pencil so it aligns with the outer corner of our eye. Connect the two dots with one light, even line.
  2. Fill. Start at the tail of your eyebrow, and use short, feathery strokes to fill in your eyebrow. Be sure your strokes begin at the underside of your eyebrow and move outward toward your temple for the most natural look.
  3. Blend. Use a spoolie brush at a 45-degree angle to blend your pencil strokes into your natural hair.
