Concealer: The Unsung Hero Of The Beauty Bag

Blog Images - ConcealersConcealer is so often looked upon as a foundation afterthought – for the blemishes that weren’t covered by our foundation, we can always rely on our favourite concealer. It’s a common misconception that women with blemishes, pigmentation or scarring should opt for thick, high coverage foundations to create the illusion of spot-free skin. Truth be told, foundation is designed to conceal serious imperfections – think of it as a wash of colour to give your skin a beautiful, even finish. Still seeing spots? Enter: the unsung hero of the beauty bag.

Spot concealing will change the way you apply your makeup. By applying concealer only where you need it, your skin will look flawless, but it will still look like SKIN – natural and glowing, never cakey or overly covered. The beauty of opting for a mineral concealer? You’re still allowing your skin to breathe, delivering it the benefits of skin care rather than masking it in heavy makeup and only worsening the breakout.

Blog Images - Concealers 13The newly launched jane iredale Zap&Hide Blemish Concealer is ideal for truly blemish prone skin as it’s packed with pure pigment, botanical ingredients that work to soothe redness and a treatment to fight bacteria whilst covering your spot like a traditional concealer should. The consistency is smooth and so easy to blend on top of any fluid or powder foundation.

The jane iredale Disappear Full Coverage Concealer offers a slightly higher coverage with an opaque finish to really blur and diffuse the look of imperfections, whether it be acne scars, veins, tattoos or a port wine stain. This concealer works well with liquid makeup, but we also love it on bare skin to cover any spots without giving the skin a particularly “made up” look. The Disappear Concealer is also extremely versatile, use it as a liquid base, mix it in with Liquid Minerals or Dream Tint for more coverage or use on its own to conceal, it’s the perfect beauty bag addition for a flawless finish.

To cover darker spots, scarring and pigmentation, you can’t look past the transformative powers of the jane iredale Enlighten Concealer. Originally formulated for dark circles, we are talking about giving your face the look of an extra five hours of sleep when this concealer is used under the eyes, Enlighten is also unbeatable at covering pigmentation patches and even bruising (a must-have for makeup artists). The creamy formula melts to the warmth of your fingers, it may look bright peach, but you’ll be surprised at how quickly it sinks into the skin for a natural, yet full coverage finish. Rich in antioxidant properties, this versatile concealer works to reduce puffiness while revitalising the skin, if you haven’t tried it yet, you are in for a lovely surprise.

Blog Images - Concealers 1If under eye dryness and dark circles are your concern, then using a product that conceals, corrects and conditions like our Circle/Delete Concealer is a must. These handy pots contain two colours that can be used alone or blended for a truly custom coverage. Circle\Delete1 has yellow undertones and covers red, pink tones around the eye area and is great for fair skin. Circle\Delete 2 has peach undertones and covers blue, grey, ashy tones or hyperpigmentation on fair skin. The dark peach shade effectively neutralises blue, so it can be used as a concealer for surgical bruising. The lighter shade can be used as a highlighter anywhere on the face.

Our go to, eye brightener and concealer is Active Light Under Eye Concealer. As its name suggests, this pen brightens the under-eye area and diffuses imperfections for a soft-focus finish, but it can also be used as a very subtle highlighter to bring forward the highest plains of the face – a reverse contour of sorts. Cucumber and white tea extracts work to reduce puffiness, while avocado and sunflower oil gently nourish this delicate area. Active Light 1 & 2 are yellow undertone, Active Light 3 & 4 are peach undertone and Active Light 5 & 6 olive/warm bronze undertone.

Blog Images - Concealers 12Want it all? Feel confident with serious colour correcting? Then add the jane iredale Professional Corrective Colours Palette to your makeup kit. Each of the four hues offers full coverage, and endless custom shade combinations. This palette was originally designed for post surgery to help conceal the “life cycle” of a bruise at every stage; yellow to conceal initial redness, peach to hide blue, purple and grey tones, lilac to cover yellow tones in the healing stage, and beige to hide any post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation left behind. The formula combines green tea extract, beeswax, moringa butter and avocado oil to calm, sooth and assist with healing of the skin, so if you like the idea of an all-in-one concealer for any occasion or distraction, look no further.

Power Brows and How To Master Them

Brow Blog Image

A great brow product is worth its weight in gold. From Audrey’s squared edges to Brooke’s brushed out beauties and Kim’s perfectly polished pair, eyebrow trends may waver but a product that can do it all is a beauty bag staple. Having your eyebrows shaped professionally to suit your features is essential, but once you’ve left the salon, the pencil (or gel, or palette) is in your hands.

Brow Blog Image3If you’ve been naturally blessed with full brows, then a brow gel is a must. jane iredale PureBrow Brow Gel can be combed through the brows to set unruly hairs in place, and the tinted formulas (blonde, brunette & auburn) can be used to match your hair colour between tints or simply to give the illusion of thicker, fuller brows. Brow gels have been known to set quickly and give the hair an almost “crunchy” texture, but our mineral formulas have a conditioning effect on the hair, moving with your brow hair for a truly natural look. PureBrow Brow Gel also comes in a clear formula, perfect for “no makeup” days or for setting your look after using a pencil. Our tip? Brush up the hairs at the inner edges of your eyebrows for a fresh, youthful look.

If your brows are sparse or simply need a bit of filling in, then a pencil is your ideal brow tool. A fine pencil will allow you to physically draw on hairs where you feel you may need them, allowing you to be as precise as you need. The jane iredale Retractable Brow Pencil has a very fine tip so you can really create thin, hair like strokes. The pencil also has a spoolie on one end, meaning you can use it to groom your brows prior to using the pencil, and brush the colour through the brows for a blended, feathered finish. This waterproof brow pencil comes in three natural shades, blonde (warm golden brown), Brunette (reddish brown) and Dark Brunette (Rich chocolate brown).

Brow Blog Image2

If versatility is important to you, be it for the hip pocket or for a lack of beauty bag space, then a regular eye pencil can double up as a great brow tool. jane iredale’s Eye Pencil in Taupe is perfect for filling in the brows on the go, and also doubles as an eyeliner to add subtle, natural looking definition to the lash line.

The GreatShape Eyebrow Kit is a favourite among our jane iredale fans, because its great for those who want to create both shape, depth and texture. First, use the spoolie to brush the brow hairs upward and out to make it easier to work with their natural shape. Use the fine brush to apply the clear wax where you need more depth of colour/fill, then use the same brush to apply the tinted brow powder where you’ve just applied the wax – the powder will adhere to the wax to create a texture that almost mimics that of natural hairs. Finish by combing the hairs to blend the product.

Brows can do wonders for your overall look, and we can’t stress enough how critical brow maintenance is for preserving your natural brow shape. Our tip, put the tweezers down, book an appointment with a brow specialist and embrace your perfect brow shape, that suits your face, your eyes and your hair colour.

Which Foundation is Right for You?

Foundations Blog ImageLet’s talk about foundation. As the name implies, it is the canvas for your makeup. Aside from your moisturiser and/or serum, it is the closest product to your skin. That’s why we have worked diligently to bring you the healthiest mineral formulations we can possibly create to make sure your base is contributing to your skin health, day in and day out.

We always use the purest minerals to ensure they give you a flawless finish when applied. But, we aren’t called “The Skin Care Makeup” for nothing! Our foundations (and all of our products) also include ingredients that work “behind the scenes” to improve the health of your skin. One of our favourite things to hear is, after using our products regularly, our fans have a more radiant skin naturally.

Choosing the Right Mineral Foundation

Out of our five different mineral foundations and over 60 shades, which one is right for you? The short answer is all of them could work for you depending on your look. If you have to choose only one, here are some tips to help you narrow it down.

AMAZING BASE LOOSE MINERAL POWDER SPF 20

AmazingBase - Golden Glow - 72dpi

Finish: Dewy
Coverage: Sheer to full
Use it if… You have normal to dry skin and are looking for a loose mineral foundation that gives a sheer to medium coverage. Amazing Base can be applied using a Chisel Powder Brush for sheer to medium coverage or a Flocked Sponge for full coverage.
Pro Tip: Bring this foundation with you when you travel by putting it in the Refill-Me Refillable Loose Powder Brush, a mess-free way to apply loose powder on-the-go.

PUREPRESSED BASE MINERAL FOUNDATION REFILL SPF 15-20Rose Gold Refillable Compact with Refill - 72dpi

Finish: Semi-matte
Coverage: Sheer to full
Use it if… You have normal to oily skin and are looking for a simple, everyday foundation. Our PurePressed Base comes in 24 shades for women of all skin tones, is made from micronised minerals and is free of synthetic chemicals. Need more of a reason to love this powder? It is oil free, weightless and can be used as a foundation, finishing powder and concealer. Apply it with the Handi Brush for sheer to medium coverage or the Flocked Sponge for full coverage.
Pro Tip: PurePressed Base can also be used for highlighting and contouring. Choose colours that are a shade or two darker than your skin tone as a contour powder and a shade or two lighter as a highlighter.

GLOW TIME FULL COVERAGE MINERAL BB CREAM SPF 17-25GlowTime BB Cream - SPF25 - 72dpi

Finish: Velvety
Coverage: Full
Use it if… You have normal to dry skin and are looking for a full coverage foundation to disguise blemishes or dark spots. With Glow Time BB Cream, a little goes a long way. Four small dots of this product will easily cover the entire face and brighten your skin. This nourishing full coverage formula packed with pigment will give your skin a flawless, even finish. Glow Time BB1, BB3, BB5, BB6, BB7 & BB8 offer an SPF 25 while Glow Time BB9, BB11 & BB12 have an SPF rating of 17. The lower rating ensures no ashy finish, which is a common issue when applying SPF on darker skin tones.
Pro Tip: Mix Glow Time BB Cream with a little bit of Smooth Affair Facial Primer & Brightener to help it glide on your skin without diluting the foundation colour.

LIQUID MINERALSLiquid Mineral Foundation - Natural - 72dpi

Finish: Dewy
Coverage: Sheer to medium
Use it if… You want an anti-ageing foundation that doubles as a powerful skin treatment. Ideally suited to mature skins, but anyone with a normal to dry skin searching for a dewy finish should try this formula, it’s like none other. Liquid Minerals is a hydrating treatment serum with pigment that helps to soothe the skin, reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores and evens out skin tone. State-of-the-art technology prevents active ingredients Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C and Coenzyme Q10 from degrading, allowing them to time release into the skin. Not only does this foundation look attractive, it does wonders for the health of the skin.
Pro Tip: If you have extra dry skin during winter, add Liquid Minerals to your makeup routine because it contains Hyaluronic Acid, which attracts moisture and holds up 1,000 times its weight in water. This is our only foundation that doesn’t contain a broad spectrum SPF so be sure to dust a little Amazing Base or PurePressed Base on top for SPF protection.

DREAM TINT TINTED MOISTURISER SPF 15Dream Tint - 72dpi

Finish: Light
Coverage: Sheer to medium
Use it if… You want the no-makeup- makeup look that offers lightweight coverage and a smooth finish to the skin. Dream Tint can be applied with your fingers, just like any other moisturiser. While the coverage is sheer, the results are impactful. Dream Tint gives a soft-focus effect that helps minimise the appearance of fine lines and enlarged pores while protecting the skin with SPF 15. Great for teenagers and men that react to normal sunscreen and women searching for an effective, good-for-you tinted moisturiser.
Pro Tip: Dream Tint is oil free, so it is a great base for oily skin. It can be used to extend the wear of our mineral powders when used as a primer.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT FOUNDATION SHADE

We’ve all heard that most women are wearing the wrong foundation shade, but that doesn’t have to be true for you. When testing foundation shades on yourself, follow these three steps:

  1. Apply a stripe of foundation on your jawline (we usually do this with two or three shades for comparison).
  2. Spray it with one of our Hydration Sprays to set the minerals.
  3. If it looks like it’s disappeared on your skin, that’s your shade.

If you want a personalised foundation prescription now, take our Shade Finder Quiz to see which of our mineral foundations is right for you and which shades best match your skin tone.

How-to get long-lasting eye makeup

Face primer is a base for your makeup that makes it go on smoother. You’ve been using it for years, but did you know you should probably use an eye primer too? Keep reading to get the scoop on our favourite new primer, from who should be using it to how to apply it.

Eye Primer Facts

What is eye primer?

Like a primer for your face, a primer for your eyes improves your skin’s texture, helping eye makeup go on smoother and last longer. Additionally, eye primer keeps your eye shadow in place and prevents it from creasing. The 6 shades of jane iredale Smooth Affair for Eyes are a versatile cream-to-powder formula that can be used solo as an eye shadow or as a primer for other eye shadows.

Who can use eye primer?

Everyone can and should use eye primer! They work for all skin types, tones and textures. They are a non-negotiable for crêpe-y eyelids, oily eyelids and those wanting to see the true pigment of the eye shadow shades they are wearing.

How do I apply primer on my eyes?

You can apply our Smooth Affair for Eyes eye shadow primer in two ways, with a camouflage brush or with your fingers! Watch this quick how-to for application tips and tricks. (insert video)

Smooth Affair for Eyes

When should I use Smooth Affair for Eyes primer?

  • If you want to wear eye shadow apply it as a base.
  • If you don’t want to wear eye shadow, but want to have long-lasting colour on your eyelids, apply it solo.
  • If you have deep set eyes, more oily skin or skin that perspires a lot.
  • When you need your eye shadow to stay in place all day and night. Primer gives you that extra staying power to help your eye shadow last.
  • When your eye shadow doesn’t appear as vibrant as it looks in the pot or compact, try an eye primer to help it come out true to colour on your eyelid.

Create a powerful look that’s smudge-proof, crease-proof and lasts as long as you do! Our lid primers have been reformulated to include coco glycerides and mineral powders so that they are even more matte and hydrating, less creasing and highly pigmented.

The NEW Smooth Affair for Eyes collection is available in six versatile, buttery-smooth shades:

Try Iced Brown for a quick smoky eye, or Lemon for evening out redness or texture. We love Gold for highlighting on cheeks and it goes so well with Golden Girl Triple Eye Shadow.

3 Easy Steps to Beautiful Brows

Full, perfectly arched eyebrows are always in style, but sometimes it may feel like they are impossible to achieve. That’s why we went straight to the pros – our Global Makeup Educators – to get tips on how to pull-off a smokin’ hot brow.

Shape & Define your eyebrows like a pro

Brow shape is unique to everyone’s face. Eyebrows are not a one size fits all situation; what looks stunning on your best friend or favourite celebrity, may not be the best shape for you. Here are three steps to help you find the most perfect brow shape for your face:

1. To find out where your brow should begin (point A), align the flat edge of a straight Brow shapingmakeup brush to the outside of your nose/inner corner of your eye.

2. Your true arch (point B) is found by taking your brush and laying it diagonally from your nostril to the outside edge of your iris.

3. Determine where your brow should end (point C) by using your brush to create a line from the outside corner of your nose diagonally to the outside corner of your eye.

The Perfect Brow for your Face Shape

  • For a Round Face: To minimise the curve of a round face, direct the outer third of your brow towards the top of the ear.
  • For a Square Face: If the face is square, direct the outer third of your brow toward the middle of the ear. This helps balance the face.
  • For a Long Face: If the face is long, keep the brow more straight across, directing the outer third above the ear.
  • For an Oval Face: An oval face already looks balanced, but to enhance this harmony, you can direct the outer third towards the ear lobe.

The Perfect Brow for your Eye Shape

  • For Wide Set Eyes: Make sure the inner corner of your brows are closer together. First, mark where your brow should begin by using the Eye Pencil in Taupe to make a small line towards the center of your nostril. Then, use all your other angles to determine where the brow should arch and end.
  • For Close Set Eyes: Try not to make the mistake of over tweezing the area between your eyes; this will throw off the symmetry of your face. All you need to do is extend the true arch point out further, to give the eyes more of a wide set appearance.
  • For Hooded Eye Lids: Your ideal brow is thinner. This will open up the eye area and make it appear larger and wider. Try to avoid a large, heavy brow because it will create the illusion that the eye is being pulled down further.
  • For Deep Set Eyes: Your goal is to offset any of the shadows seen around the whole eye area. Too dark eyebrows will make your eyes appear deeper set than they really are. So, try working with a lighter brow shade, and keep your brow shape more angular. If the brows are too round in shape, they can actually accentuate dark circles.
  • For More Mature Eyes: The trick is to not drag the end tail of your eyebrow down; no need to assist gravity. First, find your true arch. Then, slightly lift the tail of the eyebrow as you create the end point. This will create an illusion of a more youthful eye.

How to Fill in Your Eyebrows

  1. Line. Using an eyebrow pencil with a fine tip (try our Retractable Brow Pencil) to line the top of your eyebrow. First, locate the starting point of your eyebrow. To do so hold the pencil vertical to the bridge of your nose, right next to your nostril; mark that spot with the pencil. Then, mark the ending point by pivoting the pencil so it aligns with the outer corner of our eye. Connect the two dots with one light, even line.
  2. Fill. Start at the tail of your eyebrow, and use short, feathery strokes to fill in your eyebrow. Be sure your strokes begin at the underside of your eyebrow and move outward toward your temple for the most natural look.
  3. Blend. Use a spoolie brush at a 45-degree angle to blend your pencil strokes into your natural hair.

• Dark Brunette – Rich chocolate brown

Brow Image 1

Now for the ultimate brow enhancement using all of jane iredale’s amazing brow makeup products:

STEP 1 – Retractable Brow Pencil
• Using the spoolie brush, comb brows into place by combing hair up and across.
• Next outline the underside of the brow then outline the top; lightly fill in any gaps with short feathery strokes.
• Using a clean spoolie brush, soften and blend the brow pencil by combing through the brows.
STEP 2 – GreatShape™ Eyebrow Kit
• Using the mini brow brush, apply the clear wax to define the outline of the brow, apply wax in small strokes to sparse areas, this will mimic hair texture.
• Wipe brush with a tissue and apply the brow powder again outlining the brow and filling in any gaps.
• Comb brows using the mini spoolie brush.
STEP 3 – PureBrow® Brow Gel
• Finish and hold brows in place with the clear brow gel.
• Remember to wipe brush in between dips so that the brow gel remains clear.
Brow image 4

IMAGE 4TIP: The brow should begin at the edge of the nose (A line). The arch should be just above the outer edge of the iris (B line). The brow should taper off from the edge of the nose and eye (C line) and not go lower than the inner portion of the brow (D line).

Are your brows ready for the weekend?

jane iredale how-to: Non-touring!

Introducing the latest beauty trend of 2016… Non-touring.

In 2015 Kimmy K showed us how to accentuate our features with contouring – the face sculpting phenomenon. Next we saw strobing, used to help radiate and enhance your facial features with highlighters and concealers.

Keeping your look radiant and fresh, non-touring is about makeup that looks like your real skin, not heavily sculptured with obvious frost, think fresh, natural and dewy, with just the right amount of highlight to subtly define your features. Similar to the no-makeup-makeup look, non-touring makes you feel and look like you are wearing nothing at all – perfect for day to night! This is wearable and undetectable so your skin looks great in person and will look just as good in selfies.

There are three effortless steps in achieving this daytime friendly look.

Step 1:

Begin by priming skin to create a smooth even base, your primer should suit your skin type, normal to dry skin types will love Smooth Affair Facial Primer and Brightener as it restores moisture and radiance to skin. We recommend Smooth Affair Primer for Oily Skin for oilier skin types; this primer visibly reduces shine and the appearance of pores creating the ideal makeup canvas.

Step 2:

This look calls for lightweight coverage, so try our Dream Tint Tinted Moisturiser to even skin tone and give your complexion a dewy soft focus effect, as well SPF 15 protection. Our Glow Time Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream will cover blemishes and deliver a velvety smooth finish to skin, so it’s a great option for those needing a little extra coverage.

Step 3:

The last step in creating this non-makeup look is to allow skin to capture the light. Apply a blend of the two palest shades from jane iredale’s Moonglow Quad Bronzer, using the White Fan Brush, and gently sweep onto the high planes of the face where the light naturally bounces off the skin – on the tops of the cheekbones and the brow bone, along the bridge of the nose and on the cupids bow (upper lip).

Non-touring is the makeup trend that’s here to stay! Tag us in your non-touring looks on Instagram @janeiredale_australia

8 New Years Resolutions For Your Beauty Routine

Blog Post Images - Beauty Resolutions 20152

The start of a new year… there’s no better time to finesse your list of resolutions for the year ahead. Many of our resolutions focus on health and wellbeing – eating healthier, exercising more or kicking a bad habit – but this year we challenge you to include your beauty regime into your goal setting so that you glow all year round.

In the spirit of the New Year, we’ve curated our favourite beauty hacks and skin pick-me-ups that need to be on your new year’s resolution list, to keep your complexion on the right track. Keeping things simple so that you’ll actually stick to your intentions…

Exfoliate

We know you’ve heard it before but as we age, our skin ages with us and takes more and more time to renew itself, cell turn over slows down every single year. Exfoliating daily is one of the simplest ways to jumpstart the renewal process of skin cells to keep your skin looking plump and feeling refreshed. Start using your Magic Mitt every day. You’ll be amazed at how smooth your skin will feel within a month of everyday use. Even your lips can use a little exfoliation, so get scrubbing with our Sugar & Butter Lip Exfoliator/Plumper for a perfectly smooth and nourished pout with a delicious organic sugar taste – yum!

Replenish & Hydrate

Give back to your skin and replenish often with a facial spritz: our range of organic hydration sprays will help you achieve plump, soft skin that will see you looking fresh-faced and radiant well into the New Year. When it’s hot and humid, we can feel the need to skip our mosituriser in the morning, not wanting to add shine and oiliness to the surface of the skin. Well now you don’t have to miss out on a hydration boost, rather spritz and keep your skin comfortable and protected. It’s that easy.

Be Sun Smart

It’s so important to remember that the sun’s UV rays can cause damage at any time of the year – not just in summer. We understand that adding another step to your makeup routine, such as applying sunscreen, isn’t for everyone, which is why we have a range of mineral foundations and bases that also provide broad spectrum SPF protection;  try our semi-matte PurePressed® Base Mineral Foundation, our oil-free and SFP 15 Dream Tint® Tinted Moisturizer, or our full coverage SFP 25 Glow Time® Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream, our SPF 20 Amazing Base® Loose Mineral Powder, and don’t forget to protect your pout with LipDrink SPF 15 Lip Balm, it comes in three shades. The most important goal you can set for your skin this year is – SPF daily! Do not go a day without SPF, it’s a skin saver.

Clean Your Makeup Brushes

Proper brush care is essential to keeping your skin pure and healthy! Dissolving the build up of grime, excess makeup and your skins natural oils will ensure that you reduce the chance of transferring any bacteria or dirt from your brushes to your skin. Make the effort to clean your brushes every month using a gentle shampoo and conditioner.

Get Your Beauty Sleep

The silly season can take it’s toll on your sleeping pattern and being overtired will not only impact your mental alertness, but can also impact your appearance on the outside (did someone say dull complexion and dark under eye circles?). Take time out in the new year and get some well deserved shut-eye, which you’ve no doubt seriously earned in 2015! If you’re still struggling with those pesky dark circles, try our Enlighten Concealer with its peach undertones that works wonders on dark circles and pigmentation marks. Or try Active Light Under Eye Concealer; with ingredients like cucumber, white tea extract and buckwheat wax, this miracle worker will calm tired eyes and help to reduce puffiness. The added benefit of avocado and sunflower oil gently nourishes the delicate eye area!

Stick To It

As they say “it won’t happen overnight, but it will happen!” Waiting for a new skin treatment to show results can be a test of patience, but sticking to your new year’s beauty regime is the best thing you can do for your skin in 2016. Do something today that your future self will thank you for.

  1. Prep and prime the skin with Smooth Affair for Oily Skin Facial Primer and Brightener using the Foundation Brush.
  2. Apply Glow Time BB Cream using the Blending Brush over the entire face, starting on the cheeks and blending out. Wipe away excess product in the hair line and brows using a flocked sponge. Remember less is more; Glow Time has incredible spreadability so don’t be heavy handed with your application. If you need more time to blend, simple add a spritz of Hydration Spray or add a little more Smooth Affair to your brush and continue working the Glow Time into the skin until you get an airbrushed finish to your complexion.
  3. Next, apply a light dusting of Beyond Matte HD Matifying powder in Translucent or Dark to set BB Cream and extend its wear. This is every makeup artists secret step – the finished result = perfection! Remember to dust your HD powder over the entire eye lid to ensure the eye area has a matte effect too.
  4. Comb brows into place using a brow comb or spoolie. Another hot tip for your Bitty Brow Kit, simply mix the wax and brow powder together to create a coloured paste before apply to the brows.  Use the angled brush to create a clean structured brow mimicking the hair direction of the brows in fine sweeps.
  5. Using the Angled Eyeliner Brush apply Jelly Jar Gel Eyeliner in Black to the top lash line and extend the flick on the outer corner.
  6. Apply White Eye Pencil to the inside of the eye on the lower lash line.
  7. Apply two coats of PureLash Lengthening Mascara in Jet Black to top and bottom lashes.
  8. Contour the cheeks using So Bronze 2 Bronzing Powder and the Dome Brush. To finish apply Copperwind PurePressed Blush to the apples of the cheeks.
  9. Highlight the tops of the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and the cupids bow using the two palest shades in Moonglow Quad Bronzer, apply using the Dome Brush and blend in circular motions.
  10. Apply a light dusting of Beyond Matte HD Matifying Powder over and around the edges of the mouth to ensure the lip area is matte, this will prevent lip product from bleeding.
  11. Outline the lips with Lip Pencil in Crimson, and then blend the line using a clean Detail Brush to soften edges.
  12. Apply Hot PlayOn Lip Crayon or Margi PureMoist Lip Stick to lips, clean edges of the mouth using the angled brush and Beyond Matte HD Matifying Powder.
  13. Spritz with Hydration Spray, and you are all set to go!
