Great Eye Shadow Looks for Day or Night

Finding a great eye shadow color combination is so important. Here are a few of my favorite looks using the Oyster/Supernova Eye Shadow Duo. Oyster/Supernova is so versatile and you can make so many different looks out of just this one duo. I hope these will inspire you to find your own favorites!Oyster/Supernova

Look #1: This look is perfect for a day at the office. Using the Eye Shader brush, apply Oyster all over your entire eyelid and brow bone, as well as the inner part of your bottom lash line and in the inner corner of your eye. Then, apply Supernova to your crease and outer half of your eyelid. Pull some of the color onto the outer half of your bottom lash line.

Look #2: This look is great to add on top of Look #1 to be a little more dramatic. Using the Deluxe Shader brush, apply Oyster to your brow bone and the inner corner of your eye. Apply Supernova to your entire eyelid. Line your top lash line with Dark Topaz Mystikol.

Look #3: This look is great for a laid back evening or a weekend on the go. Apply Oyster to your entire eyelid and brow bone using the Deluxe Shader brush. Using the Crease brush apply Supernova in a sideways V to the top of your lash line out and then back into your crease.

Look #4: This look is perfect for when you just need a little eye makeup. For a very light makeup look, apply Oyster to your entire eyelid and brow bone. Then, using a moist Angle Liner/Brow brush or the Eye Liner/Brow brush, dap it in Supernova and apply as a liner to the top and bottom lash line.Iced Mocha

Finish your look with your favorite blush; I love Dubonnet PurePressed Blush, and a bit of PureGloss. Soft Peach, Iced Mocha, and Hazelnut are great for day looks, while Cosmo, Cherry Sparkle and Strawberry offer a great pop of color for evening.

I like your tips a lot. As a bridal makeup artist I use several of your ideas regularly. On my self I personally like tip number 3.

I love all your products. The problem I have is always with my eyeliner. It always seems to run and ends up under my eyes.I've tried dry liner, mystikol, pencil liner to name a few. I've powdered under my eyes but to no avail. Is there anything else I could try?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Jane,

Do you wear concealer? If so, try powdering before, as well as after, applying your concealer. Also, be sure to not apply your concealer too close to the lash line as this will contribute to any running. Please let me know if this works!
