Holiday Party Makeup

Our holiday party is tonight and we are so excited! Of course we are all talking about what we are going to wear, but hey, this is jane iredale and you know it's really all about the makeup ;)
Mystikol is everybody's new darling, so smokey eyes will be everywhere. How can a girl stand out? I decided on this deceptively simple look (yes, I plan out our makeup in advance), with lots of gold and bold lips.
- Start with a gorgeous glow: apply Confidence In Touch Cream Blush to the apples of the cheeks with the Foundation Brush. Blend up and out.
- Lighten and brighten any dark or red areas under the eyes or around the nose with Active Light. Using the ring finger, blend with a press and roll motion.
- For flawless skin, I will use Amazing Base because the dewy, lustrous finish is perfect for this look. Mist.
- Draw on the gold end of Double Dazzle all over the lid up to the crease as a base. Gently blend with the ring finger.
- Use the Deluxe Shader Brush to press Glimmer Gold PurePressed Eye Shadow over the entire lid, blending up past the crease.
- Use the same brush or the finger to press Gold 24-Karat Gold Dust into the center of the lid.
- Use the White Fan Brush to dust the Gold Dust over top of cheeks, collarbones, ear lobes: wherever you want to attract a bit of attention.
- Line the top lash line thickly with Gold Liquid Eye Liner.
- Give yourself a nice, refreshing mist of your favorite Hydration Spray.
- Apply a good number of Professional Faux Lashes to the upper lashes, concentrating on the outside for a flirty look, or the center for a doe-eyed gaze. Be generous, this really makes the eyes pop! See the video below for instructions. Don't be afraid, it is really easy. Just practice once before you have to get ready to go out.
- Top with plenty of Black Ice Longest Lash Mascara.
- Apply a beautiful bold lip color like Cosmo PureGloss or if you don't want to be bothered to reapply while dancing the night away, Lip Fixation in Rapture or Fetish.
